There may come a time when you find a plugin or addon that you just have to try. But after you load it, you find that it causes the Freetv or some other service to crash. And you cannot seem to delete it!

When we load an addon or plugin, it is stored in part of the receiver's memory. We can delete the bad addon or plugin by formatting this memory. When you format, the bad file will be erased, plus the rest of your plugins and addons will be erased too.

To format the plugin and addon memory, go to the Storage Manager and select "User" across from Current Device. Then arrow down and click on format. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window.

Remember, Formatting the User Drive will cause you to lose all of your uploaded plugins and addons including WebZeal. You will not lose YouTube TV or any other plugins or addons that were included with the original factory file.

It is a good idea to keep copies of your plugins and addons for emergencies. EB
