Okay, so the box will not do 4:2:2. But what would happen if a 4:2:2 feed from the box was streamed to the VLC player on your computer?

The receiver shown in the YouTube video is an Octagon 1028 which is the same as an Optibox Raptor.
Optibox Anaconda and Gekko may be able to do the same streaming trick that is shown in the video. This is one reason why I am interested in the E2 capabilities for Optibox. EB

Believe me, that's one of the first things I intend to test when I get E2 up and running! I didn't have time tonight, I'm just playing with the default software so far.

Lol.
This was Posted especially for you.
I will try it also when there is a E2 solution available for the Optibox Raptor.

E2 is not plug and play, you will need more than a night...

I did manage to test a HDMU version of Enigma2 in the Raptor. I selected the full time 4:2:2 channel on 101 West and streamed it to the VLC player on my computer. It worked very well!

There are some advantages to running Enigma2 in the Optibox Raptor. I am happy to have a receiver that has all of these options and capabilities! EB

Very interesting.
I wonder if you could simultaneously stream the computer video back to the Raptor and display on the TV?
