I need to know if anyone is having trouble with the AMI/TAC channels on 107.3W C-band, TP 3749/V/6774. Channel 1 of that 2 channel mux causes my Raptor to lock/freeze up if the picture does not come on instantly. I don't have any problem with channel 2 of the mux, just channel 1.
I also noticed the NUVO channel on 105.0W C-band on TP 3920/V/30000 does the same thing. No problem with Bounce, Pursuit, or Blue Hiways TV when it was itc, just the NUVO channel. I really hate having to kill the power using the rocker switch because it takes so long to reboot and I have to reset the time each time I have to reboot using that method.
Thanks for looking, any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

I cannot get these channels on my 7.5 ft dish to make any comment about them. EB

Just did a blind scan of 107 and it scanned nothing on 3749. Then did a manual scan of 3749 selecting all channels and both stations scanned in. L 91 and Q71.
No problems with SVC_1_Channel (AMI) causing a reboot. Switched to eScapes on 99C (no signal - just to test) then switched back to Channel 1 AMI, took a few seconds this time for signal to pop in. No reboot necessary.

Will try out 105 tomorrow.

I copied the PIDS from Lyngsat. Could be why some of the channels show as error.

I don't have anything for NUVO or Blue Hiways. If someone can post the correct PIDS I will try to scan them in.

That is interesting and I appreciate the details.
My Raptor does not hang up on 105 C band. I blind scan 8 transponders on this satellite and it does not hang up on any of them. 4160V Is one of the transponders that I get in a blind scan. EB

Edit my earlier post.

33 - Advanced scan of 3920 V 30000 - 20-21-20-DVBS2-5/6-8PSK-On. Found SVC_9_Channel within 2 seconds. CHANNEL DISPLAYS OK. NUVO TV.

No re-boot necessary.

Certainly hope they resolve these scan problems soon.

After playing around with 105c, my receiver finally locked up when switching to NUVO and I had to hard boot the receiver.

Thanks for confirming the issue with the Nuvo channel eastof111. I bumped up the frequency and SR numbers on the AMI channel on 107.3W and have not had the receiver lock up in the last couple times I changed to that channel. I will keep checking and post any results.

What sat file are you folks using? Are you using sat file that came with the firmware or a different one?

Using original sat file that came with the receiver and deleted all transponders prior to scanning using the RC. Also, just to experiment, I opened the sat file in Polaredit and deleted the empty transponders and uploaded back to receiver. So, basically, this is the first sat I have really run into a problem with (105c). Could be it's allergic to digicipher. The only other problem I've encountered had to do with KFTL on 72 KU, not scanning in properly.

Otherwise, every sat (C or Ku) I've blind scanned using Fta only format has been non-problematic and fast.

I am using the original sat file that came with the receiver when I bought it. I have all ku sats scanned in on tuner 1 and all the c-band sats on tuner 2.

What advantages have you found in separating C and Ku?

I prefer to have c and ku on separate tuners because it is easier for me to organize things.

The original satellite would hang on the same transponder as yours on 105 W. I do not know why but the beta file in the link does not hang on that transponder. Try it for yourself and see if it works for you. Save all of your settings and channel information in the receiver before you load this fdu file. Then you can easily return to what you had after you test this one. EB

Yes, make sure you save the settings.. I forgot to do this on the Anaconda the first time..:redneck:

Tried the beta...

Blind scanned 72 KU and it did not find KFTL It did scan in the frequency but not the station. Had to add it manually with the appropriate PIDS. Still takes a few of minutes for picture to display.

Blind scanned 105C using all channels and it did find NUVO and did not lock up while searching channels. Still locks up on NUVO and it needs a hard boot.

I am Hit & Miss with KFTL. I always get the transponder scanned but I do not always get the channel in the following search.
Thanks for trying the file. EB
