Both receivers will be adequate for regular s2 channels but neither will open 4:2:2- only 2 receivers here are the azbox and vantage receivers. I wouldn't waste your money on that bud, I'd invest in an optibox receiver.

The optibox will not open 4:2:2 feeds and the azbox receivers are a bit too pricey unless you can find a used azbox ultra. There is no comparison to the optibox receivers, I have a pansat 9200 with 8psk and it's a dinosaur in comparison.
