Anyone try this yet? Does it boot in Pal or NSTC?

I have tried it. It will boot in PAL if a factory default is done. I expect a North American version soon. EB

Installed new firmware, shut off unit and rebooted in NSTC display. Shows new version in system info. Do I still have to do a System Restore to Factory Default, or leave as is?

Leave everything alone and you will be OK.
A factory default will put you in PAL and load the European sat file.

Is it just me or does the built in editor have problems? Instead of deleting one character when back spacing, it deletes two. Older version did not have this problem.

Deleting one character? What do you mean?

Example, WORD TV.

1 - In edit go to -> and cursor will be to right of V.
2 - Go to <- and position cursor left of T.
3 - Go to BS and it will delete D instead of the space between D and T.

or

1 - In edit go to -> and cursor will be to right of V.
2 - Go to <- and position cursor right of D.
3 - Go to BS and it will delete R instead of D.

In the old version, it would delete the first character to the left of the cursor instead of the second character .
