Just a short post to clear up the clock speed on the Golden Media Triplex.. I was wrong when I stated that the Golden Media Triplex had a 540MHz based CPU - Compared to only 450MHz on the A2!

I do Like to admit when I have made a mistake, but in my defense there were conflicting reports.

I have received an email from the Manufacturer ( Golden Media) clearing up any confusion.

The fact is that the Golden Media boasts a 600Mhz clock speed and this does explain why the blind scan is far superior in speed to it's little more expensive brother the A2..

There is also a new working Enigma 2 image for the Triplex that even A2 users can take advantage of, thanks to the Triplex Dev Team.

"Fulan" who codes and issues the software for Spark will be releasing a new file I'm told next week, The Golden Media Online Spark Service will have the latest software Update and also a nice update for users of the Golden Media Triplex here in North America!

Not that I have seen in either the scan, tp menu or info bar.

I have added many in the tp menu EB but pid numbers?

Select a tp then press the red remote button for scan. A menu pops up allowing for manual channel entry. Try it and see if it works for you.

You are welcome! We need to test and see if it works for hidden PIDs too.

I never got PID entry to work on my Alien2, although it probably doesn't help that I was trying to enter a hidden radio station so I had no idea what to enter for the video PID (different receivers usually want different things, even though they shouldn't need anything...)

IDK of any channels right now that require manual pid to work or else I would like to try it. I have a couple boxes I need to check but haven't seen anything since the CW channels.

Beware that the last generation GM Spark Triplex has T2 instead T tuner (mine is T2 for example); that leads to lack of finding of the cable channels when SW designed for T models are used in T2 models. Even E2 images are to be selected upon the above consideration.
