Sometimes, when your Raptor or your computer seems slow on the internet, it may not just be the actual server or web site you are trying to connect. It may be caused by a slow, or heavily used DNS server that your router is using, namely, the one from your provider.

DNS BENCHMARK tests about 4800 servers and creates the top 50 DNS servers and shows the results in speed and which one will be better for your location. You then have to make the manual changes if you want to use the faster DNS server in your router. This one takes a little longer to test than DNS JUMPER.

The second program, DNS JUMPER, does basically the same thing by testing fewer servers, but it will automatically make the necessary changes for you by just clicking your mouse. No need to log in to your router.

You will not need to install these two programs, just make a folder of your choice and copy each one respectively. Then just click on the exe file or create a shortcut.

So, sometimes when you feel like your computer is taking forever to connect with a particular website, it might just be your DNS server having problems.

Both have saved me a service call from my provider many times.
