Can it display in 60 hz? Mine can't on Anaconda. If you scan 101 West Cband do you get audio for Lorac Stations? Same for 103 W Cband ION East HD And PACIFIC HD? On SES 2 Ku band the LPBS no sound either. When I say no sound....there are no PIDs for sound, and none can be enetered it just erases them.
other than those this is a great release. Streaming is flawless.
Those guys do great work.

The last three versions of PKT that I tried, had problems with audio on some of the channels you mention. Audio worked prior to these releases. Also, if you change the names of the channels, it will erase them if you do a rescan. I have not tried this latest version yet. I am still using HDMU because it doesn't have the audio issues. The rescan problem exists in HDMU also.

MEtv and some other stations transmit ac3 or dolby audio. For some reason, PKT does not put this audio on the HDMI cable. Some of the other E2 firmwares do.
I also have problems with PKT missing channels on c band. Things are not as bad as they used to be but they still have a long way to go in North America.

To date, the best E2 firmware that I have ran is the OpenPLi for the Golden Media tripleX. This E2 scans great and the audio works. IMO, it would be better than the factory firmware for the TripleX IF the OpenPli had blind scan. EB

Does openpli make an image that will run on Anaconda or raptor? Did either of you get 60 hz in your options to display for 480, 720, 1080?
Thanks guys!

The 60Hz option is there. Press the up key on the remote when 50Hz is being displayed and the 6oHz option will appear.

No open PLi for the Optibox yet that I can find.

Thanks EB , I will try it when I get home. 60 hz wasn't listed as one of the possible modes in the set up, or system settings.

60Hz has to be setup at the very beginning when the image is first introduced to the receiver. You cannot go in the menu and select it once the image has been installed.
