I'm looking to add another receiver that will open 4:2:2 feeds but can only think of an azbox. Anybody know of others as I would like to have some comparisons, especially price. I've seen other azbox receivers that are selling real cheap but they are made in China and are not genuine azbox receivers but do they open 4:2:2 feeds. Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Is a PC card an option. There are many professional models on the market both new and used but cost is definitely an issue.

PC cards can be found on auction sites for less than $50.

I run my Quali-TV for DVB-S 4:2:2. I will probably go the PC card route when I build a new PC for satellite, unless a cheaper receiver comes out that will do it.

Is there HDMI out on the Quali-TV?

I had read somewhere online that there wasn't, I am also searching for a 4:2:2 and would like HDMI.

It has the DVI out and the Y/PB/PR. I have a cable that goes from DVI out to HDMI but I only use the Y/PB/PR

Thanks, I wasn't aware that it had the DVI.

I have never used a pc card before and would prefer a stb. Just wondering if models like the azbox bravissimo do 4:2:2 before dishing out a lot of $$$ for an azbox premium +.

Hi Costactc i saw on another site that the azbox bravissimo will not do 4:2:2. I beleve the cheapest box that will is the azbox minime at $225. you may can find a used one somewhere.

I'm looking to make a deal with my neighbour who I sold my azbox ultra and premium. If I get the premium I will add the s2/8psk module and dual tuner, the ultra is already good to go. I noticed plenty of 4:2:2 ku feeds this weekend, especially on Amc 16 at 85w.

The azbox bravissimo is an Ali chipset receiver. Ali does not support 4:2:2 at this time.

I think the azbox bravissimo is a clone because I have never seen one listed at an AzBox website. Maybe somebody can clarify this? EB
