View Full Version : Need help installing E2
I had E2 Holiday edition working on my Raptor last month. I have since overwrote the files on my usb drive and need to start over, but I can't find the instruction thread to do this. I've been all over the board and keep overlooking it.

Ok, that got E2 up and running again. Thanks.
Now I'm looking for YouTube. Is it in here somewhere? I can't seem to navigate past the Ch. selection page.

If you want to wait a while, I can boot mine up and post the steps. I am playing with another receiver, but as soon as I finish I can boot E2.

Ok, I had to download the plug in because I didn't have it installed.
Hit menu>plugins and you should have WebMedia listed, if not, select download plugins>webapps>webmedia click ok and it will download and install the plug in.
Afterwards you can select WebMedia from your plug in menu and Youtube should pop up.
Thanks East, just got back from dinner and the wify took over the tv. I'll try tomorrow.
I was able to get YouTube to play this morning. Of the video's I was able to play they have a great picture and sound, no stuttering etc. But just like the player in the Optibox software, many of the videos that I can watch on my computer are not listed at all in the E2 YouTube player.
The search function is cell phone style alpha-numeric selection and is harder to use than the ouija board matrix. I wonder if there is a list of key functions for using E2 YouTube search.

The one I like is called mytube (1.0) in the plugins webapps section. It shows a preview picture of each video along with the stats and allows searching and downloading.
