Why i can not change the attributes of root menu folder ???

For some reason when i am using Dcc in the begining of the root menu, first folder i cant change the attributes...the option its not highlighted when i right click.....it is set on 777
Also, i am trying to import folder and i get a message Cant create folder directory, or something like that....

Why ?

Are you using FileZilla or something else?

Try FileZilla. It is free and it should let you create a folder in etc.

Try it, but i get the message Critical file transfer error.... or Can not create file......Any ideas ??can it be that root menu is protected by password or its locked somehow ?

Create the folder that you want to add and store it somewhere on your computer that is easy to see. Start FileZilla, locate the target folder you created and stored on the computer, then drag the target folder across and put it in etc.

Something is not right. I have been able to drag folders and files across using FileZilla. What happens when you try to do this that causes it not to work?
