For PC Channel Editor we are work to issue new version for it.

Already tried. Previous database wont load. You will need to modify sat list and re-scan your sats. Sat list need improvement. Its not in numerical order, thus all sats are randomly positioned. 99W/91W C band still missed from the list. Yes!!! 24/12 hrs option- Nice milestones accomplished!!! YouTube access now is faster!!! External internet feature deactivated. I also received a copy of the new channel editor which now can open and edit the database from an USB. This is a major progress. Still some improvements. I was able to rename, move and changed SID number to 0 so the channels are not erase when blindscanning. For some reasonthe editor doecnt keep the scanned channels within the choose sat. They're group or placed into other sats.

Nava, the channel editor is not released yet. We still doing some test and we expect a released pretty soon. Once its released it will be posted here.

I have tried the update, It has bugs that when you scan in sat after a while it does not show up and also places favorites in randomly. The editor is probably not places channels correctly because of problem in the firmware.

You will need to recover using the loader via RS232, null cable and a PC with a COM port. It will bring back your box to december file and you can update from there. Here is a copy of the file needed

I found out that if you do a Factory Reset before loading the new file the 12/ 24 hours features works OK on both the main screens and in the front LEDs:yes2:

i can back up from receiver of application & user database.
but after update Firmware to (X2 Premuim HD April 2/13) ; i can not upgrade to my channel list & user favorite.
because after upgrade of application & user database , not any action of receiver.

Save all your info on a usb before upgrade and then transfer back once your done.

for upgrade from receiver is 3 way :
1- all back up
2- application
3- user database
after Firmware update to (X2 Premuim HD April 2/13); we can not upgrade my channel list & user favorite from receiver; because after upgrade 1- all back up ---> Firmware return to 25 dec 2012.
and for upgrade of 2- application & 3- user database ; my receiver not any action & not return my channel list & user favorite.
Note: i not amator ; i know upgrade , update , frimware , ... ; but i think this problem unknown.
if you upgrade channel list & user favorite ; please tell me way for your method.

I will wait for Carlos to comment on that as he seems to have this receiver down pat. I am not doubting the fact that you are not an amateur, just trying to help. I have updated my x2 once and deleted all sats and channels and started from scratch. I'm sure Carlos will chime in.

Sorry, the 2 latest firmware wont accept any previous database. You will need to re-scan all your sats and create a new database. As far as using the new EZM Editor v1.0.7 you will need to use a database created from the latest firmware march 30,2013.

I haven't bothered scanning satellites since this change was made because I would rather wait to make a new channel list.

Exactly, if you upgrade to the latest firmware and scann your sats you can make a database backup to your USB and it can be open/edit with the latest v1.0.7 EZM editor. You can do changes andload back the database to box. A new sat list was posted from 45W to 139W

Yes, you can create or edit the complete sat list as you wish and in your own order. Once its save it will keep it that way

I think Costa had 32 ok and stopped at that.

They though they had this fixed, I explained the problem and they emailed back today to say they will have it fixed to 64 active sats.

Another bug I noticed is if you use the user LNB function to set a certain LNB frequency, unplugging the unit and using it again later the user lnb frequency will default back to 0 most times. It seems to stay if you leave it on the same satellite, either way it can cause confusion with reception.

Another change that I wish would go back asap is when you access the satellite list that is active, it no longer shows the satellite position. Only the satellite name. I will probably never remember all of the satellite names so it is helpful when the number is shown. Pansats are like that and I cannot stand it. Slows me down a lot.

I sent a message rob with what you stated. They have forwarded they tell me everything previous I sent to the engineers, who knows what will be fixed or in what order..Guess we will see in the next update.
