Oscam problem

When recording a scrambled channel can't view a second scrambled channel, using the local card only and Oscam, but the embedded Conax CAM works for that.
If there is an Oscam build tested to work without that problem, just let me know; I could't find one yet.
Or is a problem of the Spark itself?

(on the other hand, does Timeshift works in your STBs; in my both Alien1 and GM Triplex does not, with 1.2.63)

If you are referring to recording an watching encrypted TV channels, we don't discuss that here. We are 100% FTA only and do not discuss watching encrypted channels unless you have a sub.

I was talking about using a legal subscription card in a GM Triplex, from a DTH provider who offers the card without STB, the user is the one who has to buy a compatible one; Spark STBs had the main disadvantage not autoupdating (AU) Conax card unless the card was used with oscam (instead of the embedded CAM); but providing Plugin with configuration, solved the problem and increased Spark STBs market. Another DTH offers Viacces cards which can be used with oscam only. Of course that having FTA channels on the same STB is a great advantage (like having a car for getting to work, to shopping and vacation also). Having the problem as mentioned before makes the Triplex less attractive (no use of the second S2 tuner) than single tuner STB.

Do these problems exist for you in the 1.2.61 firmware? Try rolling back to this firmware and see what happens. EB

Good idea, I tried, but the same result; rolled back to ...63; I still think is a Spark issue (solved in some E2 builds). Need to dig deeper.

Works, with Boktype=Dreambox, DvbApi section of Configuration file (after restarting Oscam); you can record two different channels on two different transponders, viewing the third channel (on one of the two transponders or T/C), all descrambled by the local card.
