I've usually tried to add sound for the HB stations to most of the receivers that I've tested and did not encounter major problems. But, the X7 was a real pain to accomplish this task because of the editor not reading the ChannelList.bin file. It reads the AllFlash.bin without problems, but it is the factory database with sat listings and without the channels. So, for editing preferences, these two bins are not what we need.

A way around this is to create and save a db.bin file from the receiver. Press Menu>Setting>Upgrade>Backup>Channel List Backup. This will create a ChannelList.bin file. Then, go to USB/Card Upgrade>/udska1>ChannelList.bin. Highlight ChannelList.bin and press the Blue button to save. This will create a new file called db.bin.

Load the db.bin file in DbTool editor in your PC and all your scanned sats and channels should display. Go to the 103 sat and highlight the 11942 transx and find MS10 and MS20. Copy and paste both channels. Then, rename by adding sound to the description. The only changes to these new stations are: Service id should be set to 0, Audio and Pcr pids should be changed to 5417.

While here, you might as well edit, delete or sort anything else that you are contemplating. After saving the db.bin file, reload to usb stick and again go to Menu>Setting>Upgrade>USB/Card Upgrade>/udska1. Highlight db.bin and allow receiver to upgrade and reboot. Now you will have four MS stations listed, two of which have sound. Should you do a new blind scan, these two new stations will not be affected.

Make sure you keep a backup of the original in case any thing goes sour.
