I had my X2 Premium on today and all of a sudden it locked up so I unplugged it and plugged back in and now I have nothing,no display at all and just a dim light on the LAN port. Is there a reset I am missing, I didn't see one in the manual or is it DOA thanks for any help.

I would say a recovery file or the latest file with cable via rs232 port but I have never seen a loader for this receiver. Keep rebooting.

I have had to use the recover tool before, it took me tiring about 6 times for it to finally take hold, I suggest trying at least 20 time before giving up.You have to have just the right timing for it to work.

Yes , you can connect using a Null Cable and your computer using your Com Port using RS232. Yes, you can recover your box using this procedure. Make sure the file you try to load for the recovery is : 326sz_v33_1024.r1689.flash.gz.gro.stp. It wont accept regular *.ssu files

Unplug your box from power source

1- Open loader
2- Open File
3- look for the file
4- Hit START

Plug the power back

Wait until finish, box will re-boot by itself

That is not the same problem that i had, I might be wrong but that almost sounds like you are not getting any feed from your LNB or a software glitch, The guys here really know what they are talking about so follow their advice and you will be up and running in no time.

Its a long shot. But, make sure the driver for the cable is good too. Maybe hook it up to a different receiver or device and try a terminal emulator. I had issues with my EBay cheapo cable and it needed some goofy driver for it to work right. I cant remember for sure, but I think it showed up as an unknown device when I had issues. So, you would most likely know if you had that problem.
