Good Morning dr zin!!

I tested the editor and it work great!!! To do the modifications to the database was easy. It tooked me a while to upload back to the box the modified DB. I was finally able to do it using the com port and my PC. Once I loaded back to the unit I was able to make a backup to my USB pen drive so I can retrieve in the future from there. Thank you very much for all your help!!

p.d.
Do you think we can forward a copy of your modified editor to Linkbox USA (Pansat) so they can test it and make it official at their homepage????

Dr.Zin..

The Jynxbox Ultra HD has the 3606 Ali chip i believe...all of the ali editors... including this one open udf ...but display bad characters and brick the box upon reloading the channel list. Is there anything that you know of that works aor can be modified? Thanks for your help!!!!

What creates the bad characters display is the files in the editor folder :script.ini and AliEditor.ini which should be match from the box with the v3.0.3 Ali editor. If you happens to have those *.ini files from the Jynxbox I think the dr zin can do something for you similar.

I would welcome your talents to modify a editor that could e used on the Jynxbox. I would be happy to send any files from it you need.

Dr,

I don't know if it has been verified that the Jynxbox has a 3606 processor. I've posted this question on a few other message boards that cater to the Jynxbox, but no answer. Is there a way to find this out myself? Maybe telenet in or some procedure like that. You can't see the top of the chip because they have a heat sink epoxied on it. I can only guess by looking at the GUI that it is probably ALI based.

If you already have an Ali editor for the Jynxbox that isnt working just copy both *.ini files in it and replaces them in this version dr zin provided.
