Thought I'd better start a new thread on this.
There has been one or two ALI editors posted on other boards that you can edit the Jynxbox files, but when you upload back it bricks the box. One software developer asked me what processor is in it, I looked but it has a heat sink glued to the top of the chip, so you can't read the markings. So I DL all the files off the box thru the 232 port, tried using the Ariva reader Dr. Zin posted, but didn't show much of what is in there. Here is what I see.

Here are the files I pulled off the Jynxbox if someone wants to take a look at them.

The rar file download fine. I can see the files. I tried open the udf file with different Ali editor and looks you're having the same problem I had with my Linkbox before. Channel names become square boxes or trash when you open the file. I think its a matter of finds the correct *.ini file to match your Jynxbox. Keep working with dr.zin he should be able to help you on the going

the software guy should be able to look at the .udf file and make an ini to match

Finally, here is a copy of the original Jynxbox Channel editor with the *.ini files. This is the version that cause the box to crash when you load back the modified file, so please DO NOT USE IT. I'm posting you a copy to see if dr.zin can use the *.ini files and match them with the Ali3606 and come up with a working editor for the Jynkbox. Good Luck!!
