Just read that when the new Vix 4.0 comes out, support for 3.0 will cease and TSMedia will most likely be removed.

Support for 3.0 has already ceased, about a month ago.

Partially correct, partially incorrect too.

When we move to a new image revision we always cease support for the former revision as we simply do not have the manpower nor funds needed to maintain two independent image branches. as for TSmedia no one to my knowledge has ever claimed it would be removed but for legal reasons we cant very well publicly endorse such programs that so blatantly breach copyright law.
