internet access issues

Hi i just bought an X2 Premium HD receiver - special edition
and I'm having issues connecting the device to the lan or the wifi
my SW VER : 1.06-r35-29275407 -xs0
i try to ping the device it doesn't work , i try the connect (blue)....find and i doen't grab an ip
i tried to access with the wifi, i see my wifi i put my password and it doesn't connect and since i can't connect is useless to try to ping

is there a firmware update that fixes this issue?
any suggestions

I was able to solve it myself, thanks to anybody that read my thread
the lan auto config didn't work so
I set it up on manual configuration and that worked!
