well i have tried all day to figure this out how do i back up my data and channel list?

No need to my friend, all channel and data stays intact even with a fw upgrade.

Costactc you must be a lucky person i loaded 135p firmware on mind this morning and it wiped out everything.

I didn't have those issues....strange. I just switched my f15 from 125p to 121p yesterday and nothing was gone.

While loading a new sat list i lost all channels again.

When you set up a new satellite list with Clarke Tech Editor I would advise saving it for instances like this.
