I did the online upgrade to OpenVIX 24 from 22 and it went flawlessly... settings all restored and no crashes.
I had tried to do the upgrade to 23 from 22 and that was a disaster for me with endlessly spinning VIX logo and stuttering displays. 24 seems a good build for the Duo2.
