The IPTV X2 server seems to work very well for the channels they have selected to host. I tried to load my own test list via the usb stick (Transcend 8gb usb 3.0) and was getting no where until I renamed the file to IPTV.txt. I made a test list which is attached and they all work as of today. The file list should enable you to test uploading via a usb stick to your receiver. Just remember to turn off the update function for the iptv server prior to uploading from usb stick.

Also, when you delete a channel with the yellow button, it will only delete from memory and not the actual file list on your usb stick. The only streams that work currently are [Only registered and activated users can see links] No rtmp, mms, etc., will play.

Request to Ma Wang.... please add rtmp and mms.

AND PLEASE ADD A WEBIF type program for our PC's, similar to the big2small program.

Thank you.

Thanks for sharing eastof111!!

I tried it and works OK!! I will like to add that you will need to add a coma (,) between the channel name and the [Only registered and activated users can see links] address so it can be recognized. Also there is a max limit of 50 stations!! Thanks

Hello kaboota, Welcome to legitfta!!

Go to
Menu
System Settings
Super Settings
Turn OFF IPTV Server Update

Once you do that it will give you the choice to Add (green) or Delete (yellow)
When you hit ADD it will prompt you to add manual or by USB. Pick USB and it will load your list (up to a maximum of 50 stations)

Thanks east..I will pass this along..:D

The answer is..rtmp & mms is currently not supported by the Chipset, but they are working to add it in the future.

They said since (90-95%) of IPTV server and URL's are using the format ".m3u8". so they went with this. but sounds like we should see rtmp & mms at some point down the road.

Here's an IPTV channel list mostly from Spain, working as of today.

Any iptv channel lists for USA/Canadian channels? If so, would it be compatible with the x2 mini?

Many lists are out there, but not explicitly in the X2 format. You would still have to sort through the lists and convert to the X2 format. It would be great if X2 used the same format as the free lists out there.
