I need to know the name and number, not whose box they came with.
Many wifi usb sticks are supported with drivers if you know the make/model number of the device.
Drivers may be found in Menu--->Plugins, then press the green remote button for downloadable plugins. (The box has to be connected to the internet to get the download.)

Next, select drivers from the list, then download the driver for your usb wifi.

Thanks EB, I'll give it a shot later.

There are over 30 choices, I don't know which one to choose-I'm using the unknown one that I had bought on the internet.

I think I found it and installed. Where do I go to set it up?

In Network. Menu--->Setup--->System--->Network.

Been there, not quite sure how to set it up though.

Same setup as a wired network. Do you have two choices like the picture below?

Those are not options for me. All I see is use interface and use dhcp.

Either your device is not installed or the Zero does not support wireless, which I doubt. Connecting the device to a computer should show the make/model of the wireless device.
The make/model of your device should be determined, or go into the menu and load every possible wifi driver. Then reboot and see if your device is detected.

Thanks for your patience EB, calling it a night. Any recommended wifi device that you know would work?

I do not use usb wifi so I cannot suggest one. Most of my receivers that I normally use have that feature built in.

It worked like a charm. I downloaded all of them and rebooted, now I have the same 2 choices as in your previous post EB. It works out to be an rt2800 and my zero is now connected with wifi.

we removed the wifi drivers from the base image a long time ago for all but the official Vu+ wifi dongle, this was to reduce the size of the image and the problems housing all those drivers was causing to the image.

Glad to see you got it sorted though CC.

I jumped the gun in my previous post. I can't figure out how to enter my password for my network, I'll keep at it.

Look in the adaptor settings.

Found a X2 wifi device. Plugged it into the Windows computer, then went to device manager and located the wifi device. The properties sheet of the device told me it was Ralink 802.11n. Doing this made it lots easier to find the correct Zero driver to run it.

I've gotten that far EB but what do you need to press to be able to enter your password? When you press OK it just saves without having entered the password.

Use the number keys on the remote. They will give you numbers and letters as you press them. OR connect a wireless keyboard.

Thanks EB. I entered my password but I'm still not getting a connection. I'm going to give my other antenna a shot.

Do a network scan and see if the network you want to connect with is listed or found during the scan.

I did several network scans with both my antenna but still can't get a connection, zero is wired for now.

I just ordered the Golden Media Wifi usb adapter:

Golden Media WiFi USB adapter for all Golden Media receivers (that are WiFi compatible) & Enigma2 receivers (Vu+, GigaBlue, Venton Unibox, Xpeed, Dreambox...). Compatible receivers beside. CD included. 150Mbps. 2.4GHz. Antenna makes the range better.

If you use with Enigma2 receiver and don't have our pre-configured image, you need to go to plugins and install USB-driver RT5730 (also included in RT3070).

To be clear, Golden Media does not make wifi adapters. It just has their name on it.

What you have should work, providing the network you want to connect with is found in a search.

As long as the correct drivers are available and installed correctly and the image allows switching between LAN and Wifi, it should work.

I received my GM wifi but I can't find the driver for it. I'm not sure if it's one of the drivers I previously installed, is there any way of seeing what drivers I have downloaded? I have a cd that came with the wifi if that helps in any way.

Stick the wifi stick in the computer, then go to the device manager and get the correct name of the wifi device. Then you will know what driver you need or which driver to look for.

Driver RT5730 is required but doesn't show up in drivers.

What is the name of the device in Device Manager?

RT probably means Realtek. SO download all of the Realtek wifi drivers.

Sorry EB, I forgot to reply. I changed the encryption to Wpa or Wpa2 and my zero connected immediately.
