Bit the bullet and will kiss the AZbox premium plus HD good bye after four years of baby sitting it. Yes ordered the Vu+ Solo2 after doing a lot of research, will suit me fine. The AZbox had a great picture, not a bad machine for it's age just no support. This new box has support galore. Thank you Costactc for the pointer.

Went to that link, actually found Version 8. Installed ok and played with it. Found it hard to set up satellites at first, other than that not bad. Reverted back to official firmware using AZup. I plan to go back to that type of software, just playing around for now, before was scared of bricking my AZbox.

One problem with the above firmware I had with the AZbox premium HD was that KU band would not scan in. Path is AZbox- ASC1- Diseqc switch set for c/ku. Cband no problem worked great. Revert back to official firmware and all works good.
