Where to begin...

<rant>
So, you are expected to edit channel lists for a receiver running a Linux OS with a Windows program? It doesn't even run in Wine. At least the author of dreamboxEDIT made sure that his program ran well in Wine.

This is a new editor. Other systems besides windows may or may not be added later.

Did anybody read the instructions or was the editor just installed and expected to work?

Prerequisites:
Microsoft Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 SP1 / Vista SP2 .
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or higher.

I didn't think it would work in XP64 even though I have the latest .Net installed, but I thought I would give it a try anyway.

I did expect it to work with Win7, but no go.

Tonight I'll try Win 8.

It kind of works with Win8..... needs more work to be user friendly and intuitive with the gui layout. In its current form, I didn't proceed further testing. I can't stand win8 anyway, so I am not the person to be asking how good the program is. Dreamboxedit is still my favorite. But I would test a win7 version.

Win XP is not supported unfortunately. It is too old to run such modern applications!
E-Channelizer works fine on Win 10, 8, 7 SP1, Vista SP2, both x32 and x64 systems.

If you use Win 7/Vista, make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed.
