I have the predecessor to this. This unit appears to have upgraded hardware. It would be nice if it would work with the new FTA 4k channels up there. My next receiver purchase will be for some sort of 4k receiver.

What 4K channels are up there bedsides some demo channels?

101w had three new ones a few days ago. 10+ db. Audio worked fine. No video of course. I think it was 3780 H. Not there now. Must be using stealth technology, lol.

Used blind scan and found:

Any more besides those test channels? Looks like there is very little to watch in 4K right now.

30w has several channels, 40.5w has a few. I am sure the number will be increasing steadily over the next year or so. IMO there are enough free channels now to make it worth finding a receiver since you never know what will pop up fta.

Would be nice to see a list of 4K channels that are available. Does not seem like many are up there, even for the U.K. I am in no hurry to get a 4K receiver until something changes. For me, no real need for a 4K receiver without having a 4K television or monitor.

Ya, I don't want to buy a buggy receiver for 4k so I will wait for something very inexpensive or proven. The TVs are getting pretty cheap however. I may buy one after the holidays.

NASA TV has a 4K channel in their mux.

I got this receiver and I can see all the UHD channels on my UHD TV, very nice.

I purchased this receiver KI PLUS +T2 S2 Amlogic S905 Quad core 64-bit Support DVB-T2 DVB-S2 1G/8G 1080p 4K Android 5.1 TV Box Support to see how the UHD channels on Sats 101 and 103 would look on my Samsung 64 inch 4K TV, well they look very good and also the 1080p channels look very good, the tuner scan decent fast and of course misses TP,S like any receiver.
There is software out there and they claim is possible to add a external tuner, that would be great, I haven't look into it.
For the price it cost Can't complaint.
