Box: Edision Mio + 4K
Image TNAP 4.1
Motor Stab HH120
LNB: GEOSATpro UL2PLL UNIVERSAL DUAL OUTPUT PLL Linear Ku LNB UL2 PLL 9.75/10.6

Blind scanned in multiple satellites on my Edision Mio+ 4K receiver today and had no issues with
satellites like 125W, 113W, 103W scanning channels correctly. But when I tried scanning Galaxy 18 at 123W nothing scanned in.
Tried Blind scan and Automatic scans on 123W, but nothing scanned in. Also tried channel and transponder scans from menu and nothing scanned in. Dish was in correct location, so that was not an issue.

I do not use any switches in my setup.

Only way I could get channels scanned in was to do a Manual scan by entering individual transponders using Manual scan.
Then I was able to get Daystar HD, Latino, Brazil, and KBS World channels.

Is there an issue with the information that is saved in the satellite file (satellites.xml) attached to the TNAP 4.1 image?

Anyone else experience this?

Just did a blind scan with my MIO (not +) 4k and everything listed on lyngsat.com was found. I'm using TNAP 4.1 on a stationary dish with an Amiko universal LNBF and an 8x1 diseqc switch.

clucas, Thanks for checking the Sat for me. I probably did something wrong.
However, I thought I did the same thing for ever satellite I scanned in.

It's a new box for me, so I am still messing with it and learning too.

Messing around with it is the best way (IMO) to learn it. Two things though:

1: Run a back up!

2: Load another working image in at least one other slot, (even if it's not completely set up to be used right now) BEFORE you play with it too much. That way if you somehow nuke the image you are playing with, you can more easily recover to a working slot. You have FOUR slots, it's almost like having four different receivers in one.

I've learned both those over the last 2 years, the HARD-way!

Good advice. Thanks Mike.

I reinstalled the TNAP 4.1 Multiboot image in a slot with no backup.

Then I installed the North American plugin satellite list.

Re-setup tuner settings and everthing scanned in as intended.
