Got a zap from the lightning storm we had here yesterday and it took out the LNB and messed up the VBOX settings.

I changed the LNB, had an old Norsat that I will have to use for now until I pick up something better.

I start from 55W and up to 123W at the moment..I was able to pick up 55W on some TP's and the same with most going up the ladder, some there is not enough quality to get a lock, so I know the skew is not correct on the LNB.

What's the best way to adjust the skew for maximum performance?

Can you take a tv and receiver outside? Best way is just loosen up main screw and play around till you max out signal quality. Try to maintain same quality as you slowly tighten screw.

Still have some light rain here now.. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, I have a small 13" set I can take out and will give this a shot..

Thanks... :waving2:

I mounted my 39" KU dish around back today, while waiting for a contractor to show.. Hopefully I can kill two birds with one stone ..
