Pal mode is my favorite trap.
I do not have the solution for your receiver, but please post what you did when you do manage to get out of Pal. Thanks. EB

Try using an older model tv with rca(composite) cables. My ultra booted in pal originally as well but it was easily fixed by pressing reolution and setting up the proper video settings.

got it working had to use a 19''flat lcd, put in my setting a saved it and put it on my 46''bravia and voila.
alot of options on aztrino 1.5 not working ex:network drive does not want to work and other stuff too....all the EU sat lits is there but no NA sat list.
is there a way to revert back to original azbox ultra...i think i like it better.

Just re flashing the latest file should be sufficient. I like the 5308 file since the North American sat list is complete for both bands. Have a look here:

how would i load the 5308 file ..do i have to rename it or something or simply force load the file via usb whit a hard reboot in the back whit ok button at the same time.

The same way as any file with usb, 5308 does require a hard boot once it's been flashed.

Have you tried shutting the receiver off at the back and inserting usb, then switching it back on with the usb still in?

I have an azbox but I have never flashed my receiver with an aztrino file. I asked one of my azbox bud gurus and his reply was:

Use azup to put your box in rescue mode.

One of my other azbox guru buds recommends this:

use jazup, but before you start with jazup load firmware 5308 on a usb then rename it patch not patch.bin just patch, you will need
the ip for the azbox and it will need to be hardwire from the router to the azbox, jazup is a very simple program to use it has all
the files in it that you need so all you need is your usb with 5308 and jazup and the azbox ip.
if you need more help just ask.
as for how to use trino, i never got past the startup menu, and i worked with it for 3 days lol.
