On some occasions you may have to manually add a Transponder to the OpenBox S9.
The user friendly menu makes this very easy. Go to the Satellite you wish to add the TP for.

Press menu and this screen will appear.

Use the remote arrows to highlight TP List and press. The following screen will appear.

Press the Green button on the remote to add the TP. The following screen will appear.

Enter the Frequency, symbol rate and polarity here using the remote number keys and arrows to scroll down. Press save and exit.

Now you have your new Transponder added.

    GREAT INFO

I do this all the time when a new TP is posted with ITC channels, and I don't want to blind scan which will rename any custom named channels in my box.

    FYI
you can scan a single TP at the same place (for the same reason)
at the next to the last screen on last post select TP and hit OK (2 times)
Receivers- Coolsat 4000, Coolsat 7000, Captive Works CW-800S, Solomend HD, Openbox S9
Cband- 10ft mesh BUD Cband, Vbox.
Ku- 90cm Hotdish ku motored., converted DSS dishes to FTA

Hmmm ... question, does this also work for adding the CWs or would we still have to add with the editor program?
