I want to let everyone known that the beta file was release for publish by someone and I beleive it was from here. For a very long time I had work closed with X2/Xsat testing their files as a beta tester and never passed the file to anyone until I see it is officially release. I want to let everyone knows that when we're talking about beta releases we need to make sure to whom who pass the file for. I feel real bad about going publish on this beta file. That sucks Carlos. How many members on this site had the file? I flashed my x2 with it yesterday and scanned c band sats up to 24.5w but haven't gotten to it today.

I received a short message from X2 this morning as follows.

We are work to solve and improve all the issue which you mention to us and its very important that we make sure its will not effect the main function in this receiver.
The new software will release in next week and we already have the Beta software but is still under the test and legifta will be the first website to have it.

Nice to see they are doing it right and not just pushing out a file for the sake of having a new file.

I have noticed one improvement in the beta file. When you press the sat button it doesn't automatically default to the top of the list but actually to the satellite that your on and it does allow for 64 stored positions but will only show you 32 if you hit the sat button, although you have more then 32 in the menu sat list. I just hope they address the audio/video issue as I have 2 receivers being used as my main scanners for both bands.
