    Welcome to Legit!
What caused the receiver to do this? Did you load a firmware file or a channels list right before getting this error? Have you tried loading a firmware file through the RS232 port for recovery?

Hit the V-format boton a couple of time and wait between each other until you get the video back. If you dont get video then you need to load a factory file using a null cable and your pc com port. Look for the recovery file on the openbox files section

    Updated:

Here is a direct link for the files you need to recover the unit

You need to set up the proper port setting so the computer can recognise it.

If it went dead after a power cut, your power supply may have been damaged. Is there any indication of power such as lights, display etc? Do you have a volt meter or know someone who could do a few voltage checks inside?
