So, E_B, here's the real question as a newbie. Do the positives of 4.0 first release outweigh the stability of 3.0 r808? As I am just learning VIX I sure don't want to take a back slip on the learning curve so I would appreciate your opinion.

The major difference between ATV 3.0 and 4.0, or as in the case of ViX 3.0 and Zeus, is the OE ( open embedded ) build environment, for this we have moved totally away from Pli and built our own from the ground up, as a result we are using many new libraries which may not be openly visible to you the end user, but thay allow us the coders greater freedom with less reliance on others. our E2 is still loosely based on Pli but even that is now getting further and further away.

so to sum things up, you have nothing to loose and every thing to gain by using the newest versions.

P.S this new OE is not untested but has been under intense development for close to 6 months, we ( ViX ) would not have released Zeus if we were not confident in it.
