I have made many driver updates, both up and down. Never had a driver update change the terrestrial .xml file.

Hmmm, wonder why every time I upgrade I get the large xml file with all the international frequencies over write my much smaller USA only xml file?

Last night after the update and scans, i noticed under satellites/terrestial, there was 300 and some other channels from Italy missed with my channels, I did another scan and selected yes on the option " clear before scan" and now only my channels show up.

Today's update will eliminate the possibility of "Unknown" channel entries.

By the way wouldn't it be better to move this entire post to public?
We have a similar post on i-have-a-dreambox.net, the messages are kind of the same - test - give feedback - fix and start over (except on DVB-* we didn't have to fiddle around with the bitstream internals)Last edited by el bandido; 03-25-2015 at 05:16 PM. Reason: Moved thread Per Request

So far so good....
1 - Fast scanning
2 - Fast zapping
3 - All stations scanned now have names or call letters
4 - Still have some problems with glitching (pixelization) on some strong signals.
5 - Still have to reload my USA terrestrial.xml file after every upgrade. I presume this is an image problem reloading the Euro terrestrial.xml after the upgrade and reboot.

Yes. On an image upgrade, or even some online updates, the terrestrial.xml file is overwritten. There may be a way to fix it besides having our information added to their terrestrial file.
"4 - Still have some problems with glitching (pixelization) on some strong signals"..... I also have this problem..
