You probably cannot get our tv stations at your location. Just check the channels you have and compare any problems or issues you have with a regular tv set. Make notes of channels being scanned but not working. Carefully check all 109 channels that were scanned.

The unknown channels are still scanned, but the receiver sits on the frequency for a long period of time before resolving. 515MHz contains 1 PBS station, and 2 unknown channels. The 3-24 update causes the PBS channel to be scanned as a frequency number instead of the name, and also the two unknown channels are scanned as frequency numbers.
Roll back to the 3-9 driver and the 515MHz frequency is resolved within 10-15 seconds. 3-9 driver displays the correct channel name for PBS.

With the latest driver "Unknown" is not possible in the list because it's not submitted to the driver, it might take longer to resolve it.
In the worst case you will get the regular information SID XXX..
By the way can you try to lower the signal strength on those channels where you have some glitches? I'm afraid I think there's nothing we can do. HD channels on ATSC give a bigger surface for attacking with interference compared with SD channels so if data gets damages it's less likely to notice it with SD rather than SD.

The 3-23 driver scans the names and the unknown channels.

The 3-24 driver scans the three 515MHz channels without names.

So the only differences I see between the 3-23 and 3-24 drivers are the channel names and a much slower scan time for 515MHz.

Hi,
ok I think I will need a dump of 515MHz as well. According to the first scan with Unknown this means only partial channel information were received.
The second scan with the newer driver insists that all the data has to be available otherwise it will not return any re-assembled DVB-T channel names.
Either 515MHz is a special case or the signal is poor? Something's definitely different than with the others.

Cool, now all you need is a third tuner for the free cable Qam channels, if they are still available in your area. LOL

515MHz is a very special case, it contains firmwares for receivers

Unlike WGTV, WPBA datacasts UpdateTV, an over-the-air programming service which updates the firmware on some brands of ATSC tuners, via the PBS National Datacast network, thus being able to receive the station will benefit owners of those devices.

I appreciate you solving that mystery! How does Sundtek want to handle those "Unknown" channels? Maybe just rename them to data and be done with it?
