Yes. Sub-channels are working, but currently listed with the call letters of the station and sub-stations. Excellent work!

Played some more with the ATV plugin I installed two weeks ago and it is the same version as the one Windows installs. I selected the tuner and it connected to the Sundtek server and it installed the latest driver, so hopefully it should be plug and play when the tuner arrives.

you can record to hdd or usb yes.
Aside of that:
* Windows drivers are currently in progress (they're like 95% done)
* Linux and MacOSX drivers are already available
Once the driver stuff is ready we'll work on an application for it for those systems. Please note the device is just around 2 months old at the moment and we are still working on it.
You can install the driver via the Sundtek control center (if available already) or through the Windows App, both will result in having the latest driver on the box. We have a good generic driver installer which works like that for years already.

Nothing short of spectacular support from Sundtek!
You will not have anything to do East, except to download and install ATSC file in etc/enigma2.
ALL tuner options are available to the ATSC device including timeshift and record.
Will have thread in the DVB tuner section in a few minutes to answer more questions.
