I had a discussion with a friends about Invacom Lnb and about Low noise factor. The lowend Lnb are now having 0,1 db. And the Invacom Lnb which is sold for a higher price than the lowed Lnb do have a higher noise factor. Does that means that Invacom Lnb do have better reception ?

A cheap fta lnb usually has specs that are unrealistic. A .1 db noise figure for the ku band is not realistic. The lnb noise figure is only part of the system noise figure. The antenna and feed cable also need to be included. Hardly anybody thinks about that. They only look at the specs of the lnb which are usually nothing but outright lies or wishful thinking.

I've been using Invacom lnbs for years now with great success. They are a bit pricier then others but they have been solid with my fta equipment, I presently am using 2 on my ku band setups.
