Looks like X2 is ready with a new box. I was wondering if they were dead..lol I don't see it listed for sale yet but I would expect it to be a reasonable price going on past boxes.

All the specs are on the x2 site. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Went thru the specs. Ohh boy another Ali3510! Looks like this is going forward to IPTV with pay for view IPTV server. All others specs are the same as we already have. No idea why! As mention before future release should think real hard on HEVC H.265 decoding and maybe 4:2:2. We keep seeing more and more TPs moving to HEVC. Real soon there will be a lot.

Cannot move to HEVC H.265 until the new chips are installed in the receivers. You can expect several new HEVC H.265 receivers within 1 year.

    Another thing about 4:2:2

Broadcom and most other chip manufacturers consider 4:2:2 to be only for professional use. But that fact does not stop the North American FTA clowns from saying that their brand new receiver may even do 4:2:2. Almost always these clowns claim that their new closed source toy will do 4:2:2....Eventually.

    Hello
After a veryyy long time I received an e-mail from Mrs Wang X2. A new model past this X2 Premium V is almost finished. X2 Premium VI. I am suppose to get a sample to do some beta test. I asked for any specs but didnt get any answer. I did mention what the future is bringing as to HEVC H.265 etc. Lets see and will let you know when I receive it.
