    Something else you may find useful is the Web Interface, or webif.
    Type the ip of your box in an internet browser to access the webif. Everything from remote operation to streaming can be done in the webif. I have used the webif before to setup the receiver up back when they default booted in 50 Hz. You may also send messages to the tv.
    There is also a selection for bookmarking movies which you might find useful.

    Yep, I found that straight off, and find it very handy! Used to use one on an old Amiko A3 receiver I have.

    Is there anyway to switch a setting to "turn on" a light/led on the front of this receiver, when it's doing a recording? I see the red light in the Webif, but would like one on the box if possible. If not, no big deal, I'm just used to it from other receivers.

    No such setting.
    All you can do to the lights on the front is bright and dim them. The skin infobar can be set to show a blinking recording symbol. But no such luck on the outside of the receiver.

    Is the North American variant of SatDreamGr available for download anywhere?

    Not the full completed finished version, at least as far as I know. I've heard it's very close to release though. So "soon".

    Ok, my Mio is running the NA SatDreamGR RC I was given by El Bandido and is hardwired to my local LAN, and on that lan I have a WDTV Live media player with multiple harddrives that uses DLNA. My LG tv set, my pc, and even my Tivo can see the drives hanging off the WDTV device, and I can play files from them.

    So, how do I do that with the MIO? I can't seem to find a way to set it to find those drives and play them either using the PVR or the default media player. If those settings are there, it's hidden well.

    Thanks!

    Go to your network.
    Menu--->Setup--->System--->Expert settings--->Network
    In your network menu, scan your network by highlighting network browser and pressing "ok" on the remote. This will start a scan of your network. Follow onscreen instructions to make a mount, or let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks! That has me closer.

    Ok, I was able to scan the network, and mount the found 4 drives as NFS that are hanging off the WDTV Live. However, I can't seem to find a way to bring them up and actually see the media files on them. I see an option for "NET" has appeared in the PVR under "DIRECTORY", however after clicking on it, nothing appears. It just blinks. Going into Plugins and clicking on MEDIA SCANNER, doesn't bring up the network drives for scanning either.

    I don't see anyway to get into them using the default Media Player either.

    Do I need to install the KODI plugin or something, or am I still missing something?
