Setting up or adjusting a dish is very easy with this app because it gives a visual, and an audio readout for the signal strength in db or percent. To use this app for dish antenna setup or adjustments, you will need a wifi connection that connects the enigma2 receiver to the Android device that has the Signal Meter app installed in it. No cables have to be connected or disconnected since this is a wireless setup.

I have been using signal meter apps for years to setup and adjust my satellite dish antennas. Using a wireless system is much better and easier than hauling a tv and receiver out to the satellite dish, and it does not cost anything to purchase it. Since this Signal Meter app has an audio signal readout, the phone or Android device can be set down once the connection to the receiver has been made, and you can listen to the signal strength instead of having to look at it. This signal meter also works for OTA or ATSC systems, provided you have the receiver setup for it.
