    hello el bandito,
I noticed your post about dvbsnoop from a few days ago. I have a mio 4k+ I purchased from Brian @ titanium.
Your post raised my interest to give it a try, only I can't find it?
I noticed in your screenshots the name OpenVision, do I need the OpenVision image to get dvbsnoop?
My mio 4k+ came from Brian with the TNAP2 loaded. If it is inside somewhere, can you help me find it?
    Thanks...!
    Al

Hello & Hope you enjoy the mio 4k+
Use telnet for dvbsnoop. No need to install anything. with this image.
Tune to a channel that is on a transponder you want to scan and then enter dvbsnoop -s pidscan

    Here is another example:
    ti@ti-OptiPlex-3010:~/4$ telnet 10.42.0.59
    Trying 10.42.0.59...
    Connected to 10.42.0.59.
    Escape character is '^]'.

    TNAP-2 osmio4kplus

    osmio4kplus login: root
Last login: Thu Dec 12 01:13:09 EST 2019 on pts/0
    root@osmio4kplus:~# dvbsnoop -s pidscan
dvbsnoop V1.4.55 -- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Transponder PID-Scan...
    ---------------------------------------------------------

This assumes you understand basic telnet usage.

I'm not getting any luck with this? I'm not so savvy with telnet....
Although, I have used telnet lots of times....
I have two programs I use for telnet. ACC (Azbox Control Center) and DCC (Dreambox Control Center)
No luck with either one? Here are snapshots of both: I'm thinking maybe I need a password? I used root for user, and from blank to almost everything for password?

Your second screenshot looks OK. It is a possibility that I did not install dvbsnoop???

Anyway the telnet login is root and the password is blank. So just enter root when you start telnet and it should log you in.
After telnet login, try to install dvbsnoop. Enter these two telnet commands for installation.
    opkg update
    opkg install dvbsnoop

How long ago did you purchase this receiver?
Have you made any logins that require a password with the receiver such as facebook?

Don't do facebook or the likes. Have not been able to connect with/to my other receivers with it for my network movies from each of my other receivers. Don't use passwords with any of them. However I can access the mio through them. I have a WD NAS the mio will access, don't understand why it accesses the cloud but not the receivers?

    Thanks again!

You have an earlier version of the image that does not have dvbsnoop and will not allow you to add it.
Use FilleZilla or similar to access to the receiver's files. Transfer the enigma2 folder to your computer. The enigma2 folder that we need is located in /etc of the receiver. Zip the enigma2 folder folder and post it here. Doling this will make it easier as the image will need to be changed.

OK, never zipped a file before, I think it's to large to load?

Edit: this was my 3rd attempt at loading, file started @ 1.61mb, would not work?
took out 2 files, satelites & timers, now @ 1.6mb it works. hope this helps
    Thanks!
