    Hello
    For people who do not know how to make a full backup;
here are some sceenshots that may help to understand.
You choose HDD if you have a hard drive or USB if you have a USB key.

So, if unfortunately your 4K MIO no longer works perfectly, you can call this full Backup.
Have a good day and stay healthy.

Now that you are on the latest OpenPLi image instead of TNAP. You will need to reinstall TNAP-3 if you want it back. You may also install the backup image that you made for fixing your channel list. I think it is in post#63.

Flashing a new image would explain WHY you are missing some settings or customization's.
OK. Unless the image has TNAP in the filename I won't flash the image into the TNAP slot. I guess it doesn't really matter since the unit boots and I still get the same channel list.

Your settings were probably backed up before the new image was installed, Then the backed up settings were installed into the new image during the first boot. This explains why your new image has your old channels and settings.

I'm unable to rename the channel. The RENAME button is greyed out.

The backup was easy. Restoring of the backup isn't intuitive but I figured it out. I should've taken notes to present what I did but if I look hard enough I would find that someone has already posted the process.

That's the 1% that has to be done on the receiver unfortunately. Not sure why we can't do renames. Everything else, creating/removing bouquets, adding, removing channels, etc can be done in the WebIf.

    Hello
    all stay healthy

Here are the screenshots to explain the different results with the T2MI module and no-T2MI Module plugins
the blindscan announces T2MI on one and not on the other.
the image is beautiful with T2MI and washed out without T2MI

You seem to forget though that you are using an image that is tailored for the North American needs, not meant to satisfy any European! Since Edision was unable to provide a proper driver without breaking the blindscan of close frequencies, choices had to be made. T2 MI is hardly used in America so what was the point sticking to a driver all other images use?
Edision drivers have more serious issues anyway, slow lock, still problems with very low SR, a huge issue on png depiction when using 4K output and so on...
Besides you seem to have fixed T2MI for yourself, so I don't see where the problem lies...

There is no problem at all

That´s a great solution for all users. i see the problem depends on the "european" e2 image teams, they are building Edision Mio4K(+) images, too

They are too unflexibel to built similar image like elbandido´s TNAP, where the user can decide with the pluginmanager, what kernel module is the right one for him and his using

Of course we are aware that the tnap image was developed for the American market

But there must be also a place there to say many many thanks to elbandido (and his image team).
And where is a better place than here?

I recently updated my Edision Mio4k to TNAP-3. What a great job with the image. Thank you so much to elbandido and MCelliotG and everyone else involved with the effort.
