I've been running this with the multiboot version 3.2 of TNAP in slot 2 as primary default and it's all been good. I normally leave it in standby, when not using it. Slot 1 has the 3.0 version of TNAP, and slots 3 and 4 have older images (openpli is one) I've never used after trying them out, but they were setup and running back when installed.
Anyway, I got up this morning and noticed that the V-box it's connected to was ON for some reason, even though there was no recording set to fire off during the night. I hit the power button on the Mio's remote, and it powered up to a black screen. When trying to change channels, you could select them through the menu, but nothing happened, it stayed black. I tried to change sats but it wouldn't do that either even though it popped up that it issued the commands. I could hit MENU, and did a RESTART through that, which it did. When it came back up, it came up with the EDISION screen and went black again on my tv saying "no Signal" this time.
I power-plug pulled and reinserted, hit MENU, and tried each of the images in turn. NONE of them would work, you'd initially get the BOOT screen, and then black image and my tv reports "no signal" for all of them. Same with trying all the various slot images on another tv set. I also can't connect to it through WebIF on any image. I can however PING it through a Command Prompt, AND I can connect to it through Putty, and it responds. Later I even disconnected everything from the back, remote keyboard dongle, harddrive, and coax to lnbs, powered it up again, still didn't help. Oh, my old MicroHD on a basement tv set works right now, so there's nothing wrong out at the dish itself. The dish has a C2-PLL on it at present, and each receiver runs off separate sides.
Since nothing worked, I decided to flash TNAP 4.0 via the USB method into slot 1 and see what happens. I did that, it went through the motions, but after that restart, same thing, BOOT on the front panel, and no image on the tv screen. I then just for the heck of it tried reflashing 3.2 to slot 1 via USB, but same thing.
I don't know what to do next, as nothing I've tried has worked. I did use it yesterday to watch some recordings, but something must have happened during the night that messed it up.
P.S. I also just discovered that I still have access to the receiver's ROOT via Windows 10 File Explorer. So, Putty and File Explorer works. WebIF doesn't connect, and no video on screen after the Edision Splash screen loads.

What is the resolution of the tv?
Can you access the settings file in the receiver (access to the receiver's ROOT via Windows 10 File Explorer)?
See if you can get to the settings file located at /etc/enigma2. You can see the information in the settings file using notepad++ or even a text editor.

The resolution of the tv is 2160p. It's a new TCL 50s535 4k Roku tv set I've had for a couple weeks now.
I just went to OSMIO4K\root\etc and opened the VIDEOMODE file with Notepad++, and it shows as 2160p. In fact, that's the only thing in that particular file.
If there's a different Settings file you want me to check, please let me know the name of it.My name is Mike.

Well, there's a file there called 'Settings' with no extension. I can open it with Notepad++. IF I try to upload it here, it says "invalid file". So, here's a copy/paste:

Power supply voltage is: 12.29volts, and is the original that came with it. I likely have another supply that I could try, but I'll have to look around and try to find one. By the way, this and all the equipment around it is plugged into a UPS.
Ok, I found another power supply right away from and old harddrive dock, it's rated 12 volts at 2 amps. I checked it with the meter, and it checks out as 12.~ volts. I just tried it on the Mio, and same thing. Initial EDISION screen boots, then it loses video output, and goes to the word BOOT on the front panel.Last edited by MikeB; 12-23-2020 at 01:16 PM.

Time for a new one I think. I got another mio4k doing the same thing here. Mine broke after a emmc flash so figured I broke it so I didn't try to get a new one under warranty claim. Never have been able to fix it. I had a spare so just pulled it out and started using it.

I didn't do anything to this one to cause this. I flashed TNAP 3.2 to slot 2 months ago, and it's been working perfectly since then. I don't monkey with it, or even changed slots or anything in all that time. It was working fine last night, and I had been watching a bunch of recordings. Finally got done, and simply turned it off, only to wake up this morning and find it hosed in this state.
IF it was simply a video resolution or rate issue, I'd still be able to use the WebIF, and even that doesn't work.My name is Mike.

Connect to the box using putty or telnet. What does it say after the connection is made? It should look similar to this:
pli@pli:~$ telnet 10.42.0.59
Trying 10.42.0.59...
Connected to 10.42.0.59.
Escape character is '^]'.
TNAP 4.0 osmio4kplus
osmio4kplus login: root
root@osmio4kplus:~#
A fresh install of TNap-4 should not have those settings in post#6. It looks like you are doing an autorestore when installing TNAP-4.
Try to load the emmc image without doing autorestore. Get a Blank usb drive, one with nothing on it. Put the TNAP-4 emmc on the blank drive and try to load it.
