We have two scan problems to look at.
One scan problem is the return of bogus frequencies.
The other signal problem is the receiver hanging during a blindscan/servicescan.

    Bogus Frequencies:
TNAP images 4.0 and above have an "unfiltered" blindscan, which allows us to see any trash that is found in a blindscan. Other images filter the trash, so you do not see it, but it does exist and can be seen in terminal debug. This will have to be worked on later as there is no real good solution for it right now, except to run a filter.

    Receiver Hanging during scans (Blindscan/ServiceScan):
The SF8008 Supreme is set slightly different than most other enigma2 receivers that have a decent scan capability. The SF8008 finds and returns transponders that do not appear to make sense, but they are valid frequencies. Some of these transponders are Unlocked due to no signal or due to other circumstances. Some transponders that are returned appear to have no signal at all, so a signal error is returned. It looks like Enigma2 does not know how to handle this, and you could debate whether these transponders should be returned at all.

A solution for the scan hanging may have been found by reducing the timeout times in enigma2. Changing the timeout times may effect older receivers such as a Duo2. The timeout times were set Years ago before the SF8008 Supreme existed. Reducing the timeout times is a fine line. Reduce too much and transponder services will not be scanned. The flip-side is if the timeout times are set too high, then the receiver hangs.

Some of the scan timeout timers have been adjusted in TNAP5.1 and the results can be seen below. The SF8008 Supreme is motorized for this example. with the cable for tuner 2 disconnected. Tuner 2 in this example is motorized ku band. A ku channel is called, then an attempt is made to scan a ku transponder, which is "Dead" as no antenna is connected.

Dead transponder scanned on motorized antenna system:

Dead transponder scanned on motorized antenna system WITH timeout timers adjusted:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Blindscan/ServiceScan results do not seem to be changed with the timeout timers modified so they have been included in TNAP5.1. Perform an online Software update or use terminal (opkg update && opkg upgrade) to get these changes in Tnap5.1.

115 West C band was a "problem"satellite for my SF8008 Supreme. The receiver would hang or take an enormous amount of time to scan this satellite. Adjusting the timeout timers seems to have fixed it ---at least for now. Scan results on other c band satellites also give good to satisfactory results. Ku band has not been tested yet.

Plenty of Unlocked transponders on this one.

I keep using 99 ku as a reference for comparing before and after scans. I tried the blind scan on VIX and it behaved the same as in post #37.

I then tried ATV and it displayed:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I updated ATV (11 packages) and re-scanned and it showed a few more transponders:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I think I will try a few other images to see how they behave.

What are you using for a lnb? What antenna settings are you using? Any c band satellite to test?
The only problem I have on ku is 129w.

Blind Scan Time = 7 Min. 43 Sec.
    113 Channels ( TV = 27 Radio = 86) 21 of 21 Transponders Scanned.
IMO, a decent scan of 99wku. Again, a bunch of Unlocked transponders, but the Supreme runs on through them. The timeout timer adjustment seems to help.

In antenna settings, Try Ku STD 10750 (Circular) instead of user defined.

    Tried it.... same results.

Just for the heck of it I tried KU INV 9750/10600, scanned and it shows:

Attached is a blindscan plugin that I think fixes your problem. Put it in the proper blindscan folder (/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/Blindscan), then Reboot. It should fix your issue or at least it did for me using user defined 10600 X3.

Please post the scan report to go with that so we can see exactly what it is doing. Default will be in /tmp of receiver files. The scan report will show the transponders you got and the services found on them. This will show where the error in math is.
