here are the comparative tests carried out on the Astra satellite, (this satellite has no Multistream)
with the “T2MI Europe 700” driver, deactivating the MIS search gives a worse result than leaving the MIS search activated. The blindscan with this driver is not ideal anyway.
with the “No-T2MI” driver, the result is similar with or without the Multistream search, with this driver the blindscan gives good results anyway.

What is the lowest symbol rate that is useful in the MIO4K receivers?

Normal scanning is 950-2150MHz. The 700 driver scans 700-2150MHz. Do you actually need 700 MHz? Could it be set to 750-2150 MHz or higher(800-2159MHz)?

I believe that with the MIO4K (with the ocean modification) I managed to obtain an sr of 480, otherwise without modification it was sr 940.
the scan down to 700 is only useful for the 26° East satellite and its specific frequency band for amateur radios (which transmit between 10490 and 10500 H), which can be received with a standard LNB, although this is also limited by the ability to read small sr, as radio transmitters always transmit with sr of 125; 250; 500; and 1000. In this case, the Ustym 4K pro (old Si2166D tuner) is much better; however, with a dedicated LNB (as Ocean's 700 modification does not apply to this tuner).

here's a comparison of the different drivers TNAP6
it is possible that Ocean's modification is not fully
    compatible with “scarthgap”.

In case it hasn't been reported, blindscan misses some transponders such as 4120V34286-2/3 at 97W, DVB-S2, 16APSK. I was able to manually scan that transponder to get the services.
    Microwave techs are fully deviated.
