Factory test menu,

rs232 test choice tests the rs232 is receiving and you are using the correct cable.
Use a terminal program on the pc and type away.
Good for rookies that never loaded via rs232 before to verify everything.
Tested on old firmware,should be the same results with newer.

I thought I would need a loopback connector,that was a lot easier.
I already used a terminal program to verify the rs232 was alive by the "app init ok" message.
I see lots of people on other forums that attempt to load with the wrong cable.
But it works on my "bla bla" receiver.
Naturally this must be done on a good working receiver first.

A quicky test without a terminal program is start the test then start the loader.
The loader sends cccccccccccc to make contact with the receiver,you will see a few c
on the rs232 test screen when the test ends.Verified working with the latest firmware.
