Flashed 05-29 with backup but zapping between c and ku channels produced the slow down effect again. Continued zapping between channels became even slower. Had to restore prior backup.

I updated to the latest version today and somehow the front panel display has got screwed up. It used to show the channel number while changing channels, then time out and show the time. Now, any time the receiver is on, it shows 0000. I looked through all the menus and I can't find anything relevant.

Oh, sorry -- Edision OS Mio 4k.
FYI, I had initially tried doing the usual online update (that downloads and installs new packages) with an earlier version of TNAP 5.1. That gave me a version of TNAP that was dated yesterday, but I noticed that I didn't have the option to not wait for non-locking transponders in the tuner setup. So I did the online download-and-install a whole new image, with backup. Then I tried the package upgrade again, this time it only gave me one new package. It was after that that I noticed the "0000" issue. (I can't say whether it was present after my previous update or not, I didn't work with that version for too long after I noticed it really wasn't the current one.)

sorry. this thread was posted in tnap 5 menu by my mistake.
Running version may 12-2024 of tnap5.1, I find strange behavior of the "signal finder" :
When the menu is first open, or switching from 1 tp to the next, the signal is "jumping" for a moment before settling, & few seconds later is doing it again:

Even on a dead transponder:

After a reboot, symptom is gone, but when I put the box on standby, turn on, is doing again.Last edited by lme; 06-15-2024 at 12:07 PM. Reason: wrong place post

For the last week, I start heaving pixilation on 101w/4180h, running 5.1, 2024-05-12 version:

Same thing after updating to 2024-05-25 version:

No such pixilation on other images (vix, openbh, atv) !
Any idea ?Last edited by lme; 06-17-2024 at 09:23 PM.

Go to the Plugins menu. Download and install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-vfdcontrol
VFD will be available in the receiver menus, which should allow you to set the display. REBOOT after making changes in the VFD menu.
