Lots of other goodies that this box can do as well in the Anaconda sections.. Good idea to load some things like the web interface in case of future problems..

Download the NTSC file.
Unzip the file and install it on a formatted fat 32 usb stick.
Turn the receiver OFF using the rear rocker switch. Insert the usb stick into the receiver.
Hold the front UP button and turn the receiver ON. Continue to hold the front up button until you see the file being loaded..

Error 90 = USB Error
Have you tried the other usb port?
Did you unzip the file before loading it on the usb?
Is the file the correct one for the receiver?
Are you using a Kingston usb stick?
Was the usb stick formatted to fat32?.

[QUOTE=el bandido;37196]Error 90 = USB Error
Have you tried the other usb port? Nope, didn't try that
Did you unzip the file before loading it on the usb? Yes
Is the file the correct one for the receiver? Used the one in the link from Viper
Are you using a Kingston usb stick? No, don't have a Kingston and was wondering that may be the problem
Was the usb stick formatted to fat32? Yes and I am currently formatting it again for a second try. I guess if this doesn't work, I will have to wait until I can pick up a KingstonOptibox Anaconda, X2, OpenBox-S9, CS8000 and 2 X CW700S, 7 1/2' Perfect Ten scanning 55W to 139W C Band and a 39" Q-Sat scanning 30W to 125W Ku Band

Ok, got a Kinston stick, loaded the unzipped file, with the stb off I plugged in the stick, turned the stb on while holding the up button on. Front panel showed LD and counted up from 0 to 99, then FE and counted up, then FP, counted up then back to FE, then FP and finally the front panel flashed END. Tiried menu and still nothing so any suggestions as to what I may have done wrong?

Ok, just to clarify, a null modem cable has both ends with the same number of pins? The cable I have fits the RS232 connection and the other end is the same. Can't connect it to anything I have here. I do have an adapter but I would be connecting to the RS232 through a USB connection on the laptop and I don't think that will work.
