Update upgrade don't make sense for us.You guys are using OpenPLI source code. They decide to remove USB support from us so what is left is adding Kernel drivers manually to be able to get USB functioning. Even after that tuner is not functioning properly.
You scan with USB tuner list is there you reboot Ch.list is gone . OpenVix Openpli OpenATV all working same but totally different than VTI and Black HoleLast edited by mb1; 09-29-2014 at 06:38 PM.

Our OE Core is no longer based on pli and has not been for over 18 months, yes we still merge from the Pli GIT to take advantages of some of their fixes (in the same way they still merge from the Dreambox GIT, but the similarities end there).
We never removed USB support, we did however remove most of the USB tuner drivers from the kernel and placed them into the feeds some two years ago in order to stream line the image and reduce the many issues caused by holding all of those drivers in the image in the first place.
OpenViX and OpenATV moved away from OpenPli over 18 months ago, we now build and maintain our own OE-A core, we still merge from the Pli GIT from time to time in the same way that Pli merge from the Dreambox GIT, the similarities end there however. BH and VTI are based directly on the base Vu+ Original Image and as such only need to add a skin, ViX dumped the Vu+ OI as a image base with ViX 2.0 almost three years ago. what works for BH and VTI does not necessarily work in any other image without significant modification.

The Ocram picon server is currently down which has tripped the image into falsely reporting that the ViX feeds are down, they are not.
for now please FTP to /etc/opkg/ and delete or rename the ocram-feed.conf file, until he restores his server and corrects the error.

Sorry for taking so long to update this thread, other things got in the way such as the day job and holidays etc. any hoo I would recommend you reflash the image ans use a settings backup instead of using the online update option as there have been a lot of feeds updates lately and unless you are on a relatively recent image the update wont work properly, but a settings backup should be fine.
