According to a recent survey from ING Direct, one in two Canadians are unable to save an extra $25 a week, yet 41 per cent say that being able to save that kind of money each week would make them happier, and get them closer to reaching their financial goals.
The survey also found that most people would try to save an extra $25 per week by eating out less, doing less shopping, making lunch and coffee at home, using coupons, and cutting down on groceries.
Peter Aceto, President and CEO of ING Direct believes that if people are willing to change everyday habits, it can go a long way to achieving their goals
